The room was overfilled and spectators had to stand in the back to be able to catch a glimpse of the show. It was a thrilling moment: The audience was all excited and was awaiting the face of the next generation of Business One with coresystems in high expectations. Many of the present VARs and SSPs who were unfamiliar with the solutions of coresystems or who had just briefly heard of coresuite as a very strong solution in Europe, were curious and visited the session. – reaching its peek with the gadgets, widgets and mash-ups provided by coresystems. The session at the Partner Summit was held together with the VP of SAP development from the SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany and the General Manager of coresystems USA, Arti Sahgal.īesides an introduction to the entire idea of Co-Innovation from side of SAP, the focus of the slot was to demonstrate the new face of SAP Business One 8.8. This slot at the Summit in Vegas was the first public appearance of coresystems USA and it was a very exciting moment for the entire coresystems team. It was an absolute thrill that before coresystems at all was actually present in North America, they already received their first invitation to present at one of the most important North American partner events. The slot was focused on the Co-Innovation projects that the development of SAP Business One had initiated with coresystems in conjunction with their release of SAP Business One 8.8.Ĭoresystems USA was founded towards the end of 2009 and the official launch of the office in New York City was scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2010. In the Q&A session, many very insightful questions were discussed and ideas for future innovations were generated.īased on the great response received, coresystems at the event itself, received invitations to present on April 6th 2010 at the ASUG meeting in San Francisco, California as well as at the national ASUG meeting coming up in August in the Nike headquarters in Portland, Oregon.Īt the end there was a raffle and all were competing to win the Swiss Army Knife that coresystems had brought along from their headquarters in Switzerland!īased on the highly successful presentation of coresystems’ CEO, Manuel Grenacher, at the SAP Influencer Summit in Boston in December 2009, coresystems got invited to co-present with SAP at the SAP Partner Summit in Las Vegas. Many of the attendants were so impressed that they actually downloaded and installed the mobile app on site!īeing able to meet with actual users of SAP Business One and feeling out their needs, was a great experience for coresystems and also a great method of receiving very valuable inputs and feedback.
The next generation apps were presented and received a great response from the represented user group. During the one hour session of coresystems – after a brief introduction of the company and their basic solutions such as the coresuite country package, time as well as eCommerce – the focus turned to the future of SAP Business One 8.8. The next day started off with a plenary session and then individual tracks for SAP Business One and SAP R/3. Also another exciting event had taken place for coresystems in this same week: the beta version of their mobile app had been positioned in the App Store of Apple! – The networking reception was a great occasion to informally demo the beautiful mobile app on the actual iPhone – what on one hand was great as it attracted a lot of attention and on the other hand like this tempted people to come for the demo session the following day. The conference started off with a nice little reception party which allowed attendants to network among one another before the meeting would start the following day. This invitation followed after the successful demo of coresystems at the SAP Partner Summit 2010 in Vegas, from the Chair of the VAR Advisory Board. However, the highlight of coresystems’ first week in North America was definitely the invitation to present at the American SAP User Group meeting on March 24th and 25th in Portland, Oregon. Already from the start presentations, meetings, demos and so on were all scheduled. On 22nd of March 2010, coresystems USA officially started and got set up in New York, at their office on Madison Avenue.
